Step 06: Assigning Disclaimers

The documents uploaded in the previous step can be assigned to specific users. You also have the option to bypass the disclaimer requirement for certain users, such as your administrators.

Key Points Covered:

Viewing and Selecting Members: From the Manage Disclaimers area, admins click Assign Disclaimers to Users to see a full list of workspace members along with the disclaimer document currently assigned to each one. (0:00-0:23)
Assigning an Alternate Disclaimer: Admins can check the box next to one or more members, choose a different disclaimer from the Select Disclaimer Template dropdown, and click Assign to Selection so the new disclaimer is presented the next time those users enter the workspace. (0:23-0:48)
Exempting Users from Disclaimers: For users who shouldn't see a disclaimer at all, such as fellow administrators, admins select the member and choose No Disclaimer Assignment from the dropdown; those users can then enter the workspace without needing to accept anything, and all changes save automatically once the admin navigates away.
